Cookies & Castles Frisco is the annual philanthropic project hosted by the North Dallas Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Delta Delta. We donate 90% of our proceeds to Scottish Rite for Children
Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center in Frisco and 10% (up to $5,000) to Tri Delta’s Foundation.
The Frisco campus is anchored by the Center for Excellence in Sports Medicine. This location also provides general orthopedic clinics for spine, hand, hip and rheumatology. Additional services include the fracture clinic, movement science laboratory, prosthetics and orthotics, and physical and occupational therapy. The donations from Cookies & Castles Frisco are designated for Patient Care as well as the care of the Frisco facility dog.
Patient Care
Gifts toward Patient Care have a direct impact, ensuring all children have access to high-quality treatment and therapies delivered by experts in the field. From simple clinic visits to life-changing surgeries, all services at Scottish Rite for Children are provided to patients regardless of any family’s ability to pay.
Falco the Facility Dog
The donations from Cookies & Castles Frisco 2022 provided the funding for the training, transport, and adoption of the first facility dog at Scottish Rite in Frisco! Falco is a golden retriever, labrador, and poodle mix from Milton, Georgia. He was born and raised by a nonprofit organization called Canine Assistants.
Falco works with the Child Life Specialists on the Frisco campus. He spends most of his day in the Day Surgery Center, providing comfort and support to patients. Falco stays with patients as the nurse and child life specialists prepare patients for the surgery process. Then, he checks on them when they wake up in the recovery room.
